Just heard at work, and it's all over the WWN. Lucius Malfoy has been sent to Azkaban.

Someone (who isn't me) should probably tell Draco before he hears some other way.

'Draco's' body has been interred already, or so I heard. The Malfoys did what they needed to to make sure no one realised it was a forgery, and no one stopped them, so why Lucius is being packed off to Azkaban NOW -- apparently Cadmus Mulciber was involved. It's all anyone's talking about, but it's hard to sort out fact from bald speculation. I'll see what else I can find out.

Well, that was festive.

Found Draco in the library. He was looking out the window, down at the square. Where who should be standing, staring up at us, but his mother.

(Well, she was staring at where she knew the house used to be, of course. The Fidelius is still working perfectly, Alice.)

Before I could find the right thing to say, Farty Grouch showed up and the two had an amazing row. He finally side-along-Apparated her out of here but not before she got in a few really fabulous blows with those red claws of hers.

Anyway. I've told Draco. I think he's beyond the point where he can process, just now. I'll keep an eye on him and see if Hermione can make a dent, later.
