Everything sounds quiet so far... that's not just you being stoic, is it?

How was your weekend? All healed up from being ambushed? My weekend wasn't too bad. Not to overshare, but I needed to have a chat with an ex and I was dreading it. (As to why, well, that's a complicated story.) But everyone was civil and we parted on reasonably good terms.

Have you done your Christmas shopping for your family yet? I need to do mine, still, and I'm fresh out of ideas. What sorts of things does YOUR family like? Maybe we could get together for lunch sometime and you could tell me? (And in the meantime you could think about it. I really need some ideas here!)
